The Supermarine Spitfire is one of the most designed and popular fighter aircraft of World War II. Its participation in the Battle of Britain led to the triumphant victory of the British Air Force. Heavy metal band Iron Maiden paid musical tribute to this legend with their hit song "Aces High". The "Aces High" model is a tribute to the brave pilots and the legendary music in equal measure. Only about 40 Spitfires are still airworthy worldwide, and one of them soars above the heads of fans as a model at Iron Maiden concerts.
