As the main battle tank, the Challenger 1 had a significant impact on British military history from 1983 to 2001. It received its baptism of fire in the 1991 Gulf War, where it distinguished itself through its exceptional accuracy. The continuous modernization, especially the additional armour of the Mk. 3 version, made it one of the best-protected tanks of its time. The massive 1,200 hp engine gave the 62-ton colossus a remarkable speed of 56 km/h.
The set does not include paints, glue and brushes.
